I almost bought it based on reviews from the inattentive. Seriously, they're included in the base (zipped away under the seat cushion). Even if you don't have the common sense to figure it out, you can still find it by reading the instructions that come with it. In the first step, open the bottom of the seat to reveal the legs. Nonsense aside, this bench is just amazing. Soft, well made, looks expensive. And yes, he's damn strong too. I've had four family members try it in the 120-200lb weight range and none of them felt unstable. One claims it is unsafe or for decorative purposes, probably missing a screw somewhere. Seriously, if you happen to be reading my reviews and not others, you should know this is a great buy.
