I love this filter! He came with all the necessary parts to make it possible. I read the instructions but made my own using my existing needle valve. I also have a check valve under my sink so I turned that off as well before I started. The way I did it was even easier than using the valve that came with it because it didn't fit my copper pipe fitting, so I used one of the 1/4 adapters that came with my copper pipe. Everything turned out fantastic. I attached the filter to the back of my fridge with velcro and the included bracket and left the waterline really long so I could clean behind the fridge. I have no idea why the bad reviews, I'm a girl and I made it!
