I needed a new ironing board cover so I was glad to find this set. What I like about this case is the thick rubber band around the edge. It pulls the coverage tight and was a lot nicer than other styles I've used. The padding is actually quite thick. You definitely don't need any additional padding. The elastic pulled it tight enough that I didn't really need to add any fasteners. They were so easy to put on that I went ahead and used them. I also like the size of the mesh. I have one that I use a lot but it was a lot smaller and I always wish it was bigger. This net covers most of the ironing board so I don't have to move it while ironing. All in all this is a great product. The fabric feels durable, the padding is thick, and the elastic doesn't budge. What more do you want!
