We used these Candy Boxes to wrap some Indian sweets to give my son to close relatives and friends at his birth. We could fit up to 2 pounds in it with no problem. We could have put more in it but we didn't need that much candy. I did not use the gold ribbons that come with these boxes and bought a separate colored ribbon. However, golden links can be used and they do the job. These boxes were easy to assemble and durable. They hold their shape and are strong enough to hold enough of whatever you need. I lined them with wax paper to keep the box from getting wet from the candy. Everyone loved the candy boxes and complimented us on how cute they looked. I will definitely buy them again in the future when I need to give out candy again. I'm very glad I found them on Amazon for the price!
