Review on Prima Marketing Tropical Watercolor 🎨 Confections 12-Count Set: Vibrant Palette for Artists by Heather Shaw

The paints themselves are of decent quality, very bright and easy to transfer to the brush after the cakes are wet. The packaging is very charming, very compact / portable size. Most colors are translucent to transparent. The two shades of blue are sometimes difficult to distinguish. Warm colors (especially warm yellow ocher) are very strong, while blue appears weaker (although purple is lighter!). Some reviews say the color is chalky, I don't think so. I would also like manufacturing information on the pigments used. As many of the reviewers have said, the jar is nice in size and performance. Prima must have made a new addition to their packaging though - the jar itself has a pink sticker on it which was very difficult to remove. After the sticker was removed, the adhesive remained stubborn. Water, soap, and rubbing alcohol will not work. The glue is not removed and it is tiring to have it on the box. I later used an organic solvent (acetone) to remove it, but the shine came off too. If there were no stickers, everything would be fine. Since nobody else mentioned it, I'm guessing it's new to Prima. Also on the back of the can, which I didn't apply thinner, the paint was peeling off slightly, making the can look a bit cheap. Also: yellow stains the indentations of the palette a bit --- the colors wash out slightly when rinsing, except for the yellow color. I didn't leave the paint on for a long time, the paint was still wet and has already discolored the holes, so my hole now has a slightly yellowish tint. I suggest mixing only yellow/warm colors in one of the fountains and cooler colors in the other. All in all a decent product although there are some issues with the palette box and paint stains. Edit: I've added some photos to show the set and how I used them. There are small scratches on the outside, small spots on the pots (I only used two large indentations) compared to two blue ones. My pans are a bit dirty, but the color is still very nice and bright (even yellow). Overall I really liked it after a few weeks of using the set!
