After we bought one of the Spyglass style doorknobs we were so excited we decided to put it around the house! These are probably the strongest and most durable doorknobs I have ever seen. They add character to your doors that will really make a difference in your home, especially when you update those outdated ugly brass handles that we used to have. The first 2 knobs we installed had perfect alignment. I'm not sure if it's my door or the hardware that's installed on that particular door, but it was a little tricky to put in place. When I tried to insert the handle into the door hole, it didn't match the latch. After trying different angles, I released the latch and was able to use it. The rest of the installation went smoothly. Remember that when tightening the grips, no matter which side you are fastening from, the Allen screw must be turned clockwise. I would highly recommend these door handles if you are looking for high quality, beautiful handles that will last forever. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny. They even come with a lifetime guarantee. I absolutely LOVE them! :)
