I moved into a rental house that was built in the early 1950's (crazy housing market!) and to say there aren't enough outlets is an understatement lol. In fact, there is only ONE outlet in the bathroom and they turned the top outlet into a light switch above the medicine cabinet. This left me a hole for a curling iron, hair dryer, fan, etc. Most other extensions here at Revain had the plugs so close together that I couldn't fit both a curling iron plug and a hair dryer plug. side by side (the hair dryer has a large square plug with a latch). I was happy to find this one and bought it. I appreciate the fact that it also had plugs on each side BUT I will say this as others have mentioned in their review: the plugs on the ends "snap" and are very difficult to pull out unless , You remove the extension from the wall yourself so you can grab and pull both parts well. It's not that it won't come out, but it's definitely a damn tight fit. I used it to connect a floor fan that I don't turn off often and the other isn't in use today. The USB ports on the top are nice, but I don't use them much in my situation. However, they work. My only *issue* is that (at least on my device) the extension cord is crooked when plugged in. It wouldn't bother me at all if it wasn't on my par, but it is, and I'm a bit obsessive about things like this. I asked Revain for a refund and a replacement which came very quickly but unfortunately the second one was the same. I contacted the TESSAN seller and explained the problem. They were quick to reply that they preferred to refund my original purchase (I returned a replacement) as there was a high probability that the entire batch had "off-level pins". A NOTICE. I am not deducting a point for this defect as it is cosmetic and does not affect the properties of the item itself. I continue to use this daily and have never had any other issues with this extender.
