Convincing enough for a real bearded man!
Bought this as a toy for my bearded husband/to see if he likes it. As soon as I placed him in his terrarium he flashed his beard and hissed at him. I moved it much farther away so as not to confuse him, and when I went to feed him the next morning he rolled around the toy with his head right next to it, as happily as he could. Cute, very realistic toy! It's quite small but perfect for what I bought it for.
