It's hard to tell how strong or durable it is until the tree has been bagged and unbagged for several seasons. However, this bag is huge. I put my 7.5ft tree and 2 small 3ft trees in and could probably fit more. Putting the tree pieces in the bag is a bit awkward as you fight the tree pieces while trying to keep the huge bag open. It's also so big that now I don't know where to store it. The cupboard I used to use when the wood was in the box certainly doesn't fit in this huge bag. The box helps compress the tree and keep it compressed. All in all this is a very nice canvas bag with a plastic coating on the inside and nicely sewn on straps. However, it is so bulky that I had a hard time moving around with the tree inside. With the box I was able to just move it. Not sure about leaving the bag as I still have the wooden box.
