Saved a few bucks because the unit was purchased as "damaged" based on the packaging, but there was no damage to the Article . This is a testament to the honesty and transparency of the sellers. No scratch. Attention to detail is evident in the fact that the zipped pocket is made for carrying gear and legs only. This increases the cost of the product for the manufacturer but is still good value for the consumer. Each leg is carefully individually wrapped and is crystal clear. The fittings are packed in a bag with red tape for easy identification. Comes with an Allen key and lock washers! Smaller manufacturers would save money by doing without such devices. The bench cushion turned out to be heavier than I expected as the wood was thick and lots of spacers/supports were built in. The material is of very good quality and looks like it will take some wear and tear. During assembly I made sure to line up the pre-drilled holes in the acrylic legs with the holes in the corner bracket. To ensure rigidity when reassembling, make sure the lock washers are installed correctly (between the flat washer and the bolt head, top against the bolt head, counterclockwise to the threads) and do not be afraid to tighten them with sufficient torque . When assembled properly, this thing is incredibly durable. I was amazed that for the money this bench turned out to be so beautiful and durable despite buying it at full price. Buy this item, you will love it!
