You will find that these are two completely different starters. The one on the left is guaranteed to fit. The one on the right comes from the m 2008 MB S550 4matic. The one on the left is longer, considering how tight it has to fit in the space I would have to permanently remove part of the wheel. But even if it was the right size, or required a new bell housing and possibly a new gearbox, that would suggest it wouldn't require a rear-spinning engine. I'm returning it today because my beautiful car is a beautiful lawn ornament.
