Big boys nerf to GPS system accessories

I hate when I scratch and crumple my expensive toys. This case is similar to the case of GPS on steroids. Fits like a glove, is easy to slip on and off, and looks like it was made specifically for the GPSMAP 62. Oh wait, that's it! Okay, it adds some volume and some people think it looks fun. Someone used the words "chubby" and "nerf". Is that an exaggeration? I do not know. Not for me. I used to carry my device in a Nite Ize case attached to my backpack. Now I just put it on and go. It's like an already deployed airbag waiting to hit a rock or anvil. This is how it works. The cord is attached by a loop in a case with two cord stoppers. Pull the cord clasps away from the case and it opens up like a clam shell. Place your device, close the case, slide the two cable holders down to the case to secure it, and go for a walk. What could be easier. Are there limits? Of course. It does not protect the screen or keyboard. But if that were the case, you wouldn't be able to see where you want to go or press little buttons. To borrow a word from my 10 year old, "ghost". I put on a Zagg screen protector to protect it from scratches. Can there be improvements? May be. It would be nice to be able to switch between different types of attachments. It currently has a metal belt clip that can be used to attach the device to a belt or backpack straps. How about a carabiner loop? Or nothing at all? I know the cord has a clip, but it's too loose. I would buy it again with great pleasure. I'm actually waiting for a version for my car. Now that would be cool!
