Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Enhanced Digital Refrigerator/Freezer Kitchen Thermometer - Taylor Precision Products with Large Display and Convenient Clip by Elizabeth Morton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very easy to read and use

Thermometer hanging in any direction. The hanger folds into a stand when you don't want to hang it up. It has a very small built in magnet, but the only metal in my fridge is wire racks. It won't stick securely to the grate or, even more firmly, to the outside of the fridge. There is no other place in my fridge for a magnet to stick, other than wire mesh. It doesn't read instantly, but fast enough. The transition from the refrigerator to the freezer takes 15-20 minutes. It's very easy to read. The numbers are 7/8 inch high. It has an on/off button. I can only recommend that. NOTE ABOUT BATTERY REPLACEMENT: You can insert a small to medium sized paper clip into the small hole on the side. Pushing it in and holding it straight about 1/4 inch will push in a small notch that will hold the tray in place. Still holding the clip, use a flathead screwdriver to pull the tray out. You can ask another person for help or stick the other side of the thermometer on the wall next to the kitchen counter and do it yourself. UPDATE: It is now June 2015, two years later. The thermometer still works great with its original battery. He's hanging on a wireframe at about 37ยฐF all his time. UPDATE: It's now December 2015, 2.5 years later. The thermometer read 75ยฐF when the fridge was actually 35ยฐF. I replaced the battery and now it should last another two years. UPDATE: It is now March 2017, almost 4 years later. The thermometer still works well and is still on the second battery. END OF STORY: It is September 2018, 5 years later. The thermometer is officially dead. So sad. It has served us well for more than 5 years and consumed two batteries.
