In general, I like this lamp. My issue is the mounting hardware and weight balance. It's so unbalanced I was worried it would break out of the wall, so I ended up disassembling it, installing the back plate, and then remounting the lamp to the wall itself so it wouldn't come off the wall as much. Wall. The glass lampshade is quite heavy making it difficult to move your hand without lifting it off the wall unless it is perfectly flush with the wall. Now that I've disassembled and installed it, it works perfectly. It wasn't expensive and I'm happy with the look. At my fiancé's request I got a drawstring cover to make it a bit slimmer and now we are very happy with it. This is a nice addition to our reading nook!
