So, the most important thing is easy to install. except my echo seems to be too old to connect properly. When I tried the newer Echo Dot, it installed straight away with no issues, so that was good enough for me. But what REALLY sets it apart is the lack of a complicated setup. You plug it in, say Echo (hopefully new enough Echo) to scan for devices and you're done. No forced registration or online account. There is no need to set up "Skills" and install their software on your network. It just works with your existing hardware without violating your privacy for a change. I will absolutely stick with Sengled for that reason alone (not to mention that it's easier to use and customize).
