These are the best early weaning spoons I've found. I've tried Olababy spoons but they easily stick too far down my throat. I've also tried Grabease but they are pliable and too hard for first time self feeders poking their faces and chewing on a spoon. Grabease are also slippery. These spoons are made of soft silicone with lots of ridges for a comfortable grip and choking protection so my son can't shove them down his throat. They also have enough scoop to pick up puree with chunks. Also, the non-spoon end is shaped like a ball so my son is starting to figure out which end is which. They are great - highly recommend.
