Review on 🌬️ Cooling Eucalyptus Comforter by Pine & River - Cloud-Like, Silky Soft, Skin-Friendly, Alternative Down, One-Piece Air-Fluff – Non-Bunching ([White] Queen/Full, Bamboo Rayon Derived) by Phillip Rodriguez

This is a good all-weather duvet, so if you really like sleeping hot (ie always hot) this is not for you. Any cool feeling you get from this blanket comes from the eucalyptus fabric being in direct contact with your skin simply because it is mostly cool to the touch. If you put a sheet or duvet cover underneath, it will likely look just like any other comforter. (...Unless you've used microfiber before. I know people love microfiber because it's soft, but it holds so much warmth and is a nightmare if you have pets that love to climb on your bed! ) This duvet is comparable to another eucalyptus duvet - rhymes with plump - I had owned before that died prematurely after less than two months of normal use. I've been using the Pine and River duvet for about a week and a half and it started better and is less than half the price. My main reason for buying it was to try and fill my 94" x 94" comforter. Glaze. Although the quilt is only 228cm x 241cm I had no problem moving it around as it has loops on both the corners and sides for a secure fit. (My duvet cover doesn't even have side ties and was a lot more expensive than this duvet.) According to the description, the Pine and River duvet is machine washable, tumble dry and should not be dry cleaned. . Ideal. ("Puffy" can only be dry cleaned, but the manufacturer also says it's machine washable... But not either. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess it just depends where you look on their website.) I'll ya know let wash when the time comes. (In case you're wondering about "Puffy," it never made it clean, dry, or otherwise.) I tossed it in the dryer with balls of yarn to fluff it up, and it came out just fine. It has a little more down than cheaper duvets, but it's not very high. If you come from below, don't wait below. All in all, this seems like good consolation so far. Only four stars so far for using it briefly. If it doesn't start to clump and get lumpy and awful like "Puffy" did, I'll bump it up to a five because it's a good blanket for the price. Hot sleepers, just ditch blankets altogether and use a sheet if you need anything.
