I recently purchased a pair of Sorel's Youth Unisex Whitney II Short Lace waterproof boots in Elk, size 5. Let me tell you, these boots can run in any weather. The waterproof quality kept my feet completely dry even on the wettest of days, and the short lace construction allowed for quick and easy on and off. The boots were also surprisingly light, making them perfect for everyday wear. The moose color is nice and neutral, but I wouldn't mind lighter options. The only downside is that the boots run small so I had to go up a size. Overall I give these boots a solid 4. They are practical, durable and perfect for those who charge in cold weather.
