Review on Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller Replacement Parts ~ Engines & Engine Parts by Michael Nard

I recently sold my 1970 VW Beetle (throttle cable) and bought a brand new 2019 Subaru Impreza Sport with manual transmission. I like it, but it's sluggish, especially when shifting from 1st to 2nd, it takes a second or three before you feel the gas, it's almost like there isn't enough gas, and sometimes I have to even shift down and then shift into a higher gear. in the rev range to compensate for the feeling of inertia. Stopping on a steep hill and pulling into first place is a chore, especially if you're not using the electronic brake. This makes driving in the city particularly boring. I almost returned this unit before I got it and checked out the reviews on YouTube about a weird "sluggish mode" issue that almost caused it to crash, but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I installed it and tried all the features, noticing a huge difference in everything. Sport and Sport+ seemed to be too much for this car. For example, my car still has a slight rev lag, so excessive throttle sensitivity combined with lag is not comfortable, but using City mode is perfect. This allows me to shift gears without feeling like I'm not getting enough fuel. Completely eliminates my main complaint about my car and makes it look more like my 1970 VW Beetle with that throttle cable feel. Driving was incredibly fun. I've tried to find excuses to drive around whenever I have the opportunity, how important it is. It's fun to turn off Commander to see the difference after you've used it for a while. It's worth it. Attention: Out of curiosity, I tried the eco mode and my car got stuck at a left turn light. I think the problem is with eco mode and some cars. I've stayed away from Eco and Sport modes and only use City mode and haven't had any issues for almost 2 months. Impressive in both city and highway traffic averaging just 2-3 mpg.
