A bit expensive for what you get

A bit disappointed with the price paid for this device compared to how I received this device. Luckily I'm mechanically inclined and have the tools to get it working. So, first things first. I had a brake controller on my desk and I opened this package. My first reaction was that the metal plate the controller slides over is upside down. I'm this whole man but in a moment of weakness I couldn't take it and looked at the directions. The instructions turned out to be useless. To confirm my theory I took a photo and posted it on the Tundra forums and everyone also confirmed that the metal plate was upside down. So after removing the plate by rotating it 180Β° so that it is right side up, I try to move my miracle. P2 controller and it doesn't fit. So after a few scoldings I take another look only to find that the plastic is not cut properly and is sticking out in the mounting area. So again a metal plate. Just in case I placed a metal mounting plate upside down on top just to see if the plastic still got in the way and that was it. So I take out my Dremel and cut off 1/8" of the right arm to allow the brake controller to fit in there. So I come to the next question. Attaching the brake controller to the fascia. The instructions say to use metal. Mounting bracket along with Screws that hold the controller in place My problem is that my brake controller never came with a metal bracket Mine just came with a plastic case that the controller plugged in and snapped in L-angle in house unfortunately I have to get in first the hardware store to buy washers.
