Review on πŸ”© Woodworking and Metalworking Router Clamps - T-Track Design by Zachary Spaulding

Do yourself a favor and ditch the springs

Build quality is quite good and everything is strong enough for woodworking, CNC etc. Not sure what they are trying to achieve with the spring as they only so is in the way and likes to crawl into the T-track itself. I have many of these clamps of various shapes and sizes and they all have in common that they don't use a spring and they all include a washer under the handle. This hold is a bit unique with a round brass shank under the grip (which eliminates the need for a washer there), but if you're using the included spring you'll need to put a 5/16" washer in between. and the T-head of the screw to hold the spring out of the guide. Otherwise, just remove the spring and use like any other clamp. I removed the spring in the last two photos but forgot to remove the washer when I took the photos. Overall I like these clamps, they are well made and easy to rotate to secure material.
