There is a good nylon or teflon washer on one end of the spring. The other end also needs a washer as it sticks every time I move the clamp. Yes, I have extra pucks, but they really had to think of everything. I have other grips with the same issue but as they are large this seems to be a bigger problem. The springs get stuck in the track. The nice thing is that these are really big clamps, but they also fit on smaller rails. The blue clamp measures almost 4 1/2 inches in diameter and is great…

Very close to being a great product

Aluminum and brass parts are well finished. The blue anodized finish is very pretty. The brass barrel impresses with its size, strength and attention to detail. The edges of the hole are smoothed to make it easier to pass the T-bolt through. The spring-loaded feature is nice, but the source of my only complaint. While the T-bolt itself is fine for the T-track, the width of the spring makes it difficult to slide. It is very difficult to change the position of the clamp along the entire length of

Do yourself a favor and ditch the springs

Build quality is quite good and everything is strong enough for woodworking, CNC etc. Not sure what they are trying to achieve with the spring as they only so is in the way and likes to crawl into the T-track itself. I have many of these clamps of various shapes and sizes and they all have in common that they don't use a spring and they all include a washer under the handle. This hold is a bit unique with a round brass shank under the grip (which eliminates the need for a washer there), but if…

More massive than it looks in the photos

Ever since I got a drill I've dreamed of some of these clamps. No more trying to use clamps on the edge of the table only for them to slip off and mess up the cut. I took a chance by putting the block's legs in a tee on the drill table and while it's not perfect, it bites and I don't think it can slip out. (see photo) I like that the cradle on the back of the clamp has three positions so you can adjust the holding power based on your length and grip. I'm a little concerned that there aren't any
