More massive than it looks in the photos

Ever since I got a drill I've dreamed of some of these clamps. No more trying to use clamps on the edge of the table only for them to slip off and mess up the cut. I took a chance by putting the block's legs in a tee on the drill table and while it's not perfect, it bites and I don't think it can slip out. (see photo) I like that the cradle on the back of the clamp has three positions so you can adjust the holding power based on your length and grip. I'm a little concerned that there aren't any gripping legs on the ends, but there is a hole on either end of the profile that may eventually be used for this or another function limited only by ingenuity. I was surprised when I picked up the holders at how strong and big they are. I expected them to be smaller. I've included a standard clawed hammer in the photos to show scale. At first glance, they might seem a bit pricey, but once you understand how these clips work, that worry will quickly go away. They are super comfy. I should have gotten them years ago.
