It's not very thick
It's easy to assemble but if you don't follow the measurements like in the picture (e.g. if you want to do 5 x 6 across instead of 6 across then the colors will match, don't so) this looks just like the picture so you have yellow next to yellow and blue next to blue... the mat is much thinner than i thought not very comfortable to sit and play with my baby and i sit on it for a while coming I start sweating and the letters stick to my skin when I get up.
