Very powerful shocks!

Installation took a little bit as unless you can model it in some cad software you just have to figure out the attachment points through a trial and error process. But once installed the shocks had no problems lifting the cover four our hot tub cover compartment. The cover is very heavy, but now you can lift it with just a gentle tug on the handle and the shocks do the rest!

Improves safety by preventing slamming and accidental injuries

Cons

May not work well on outdoor cabinets exposed to harsh weather
