From time to time I need to transfer files from one computer to another. More specifically, Computer A is for Internet access and Computer B for all my other computing work. I have tried this data cable and four other similar ones. I've found them to be either awkward to use, impossible to understand (at least for my purposes), or don't work at all. So I bought the IOGear GUS 402 โ 2x4 USB 2.0 Peripheral Sharing Switch and USB 2.0 Flash Drive. And, in the immortal words of Elmer Fudd, Pwesto gazatz! I had the perfect solution. It's like having a synced folder on both computers, as any changes made on one computer will show up when the drive is accessed from the other. My browser is set to download directly to a flash drive. Then, with the push of a button, the contents of the drive appear on my other computer and are ready to use. Maybe this will help some of you who are in the same situation as me before I found this solution.
