Love this for my Yeti 1000. I don't have permanently installed solar panels so I can't always charge them. This allows me to keep my Yeti charged while driving. My charge port is always on, even when the engine is off, so I was worried about the van's battery draining. To my surprise, this device has an intelligence that can detect when the engine is running and I can see that it only charges my Yeti when I'm driving and not when the engine is off. There is a switch to set it to charge either 5A or 10A. I only used the 5a charger as I didn't need to charge my Yeti faster.
