40€ for the charging cable. For real?

Like almost everything these days, you can't buy a generic model without digging into the depths of the internet. I bought a Yeti400 power supply and am happy with it. Mostly I charge at home after the weekend. Sometimes I need to charge it on the go and this little bug comes to my rescue. The assembly is average, you can see where it was made. I'm careful with this because I know a good move and this guy is going into loader heaven. If you need a car charger for your device, this will work…

Transforms the Yeti into the ultimate Tesla 'camp mode' accessory

Keeps the Goal Zero Yeti charged from a 12V outlet while the Tesla is in "Travel Mode". Tesla cannot supply more than about 120 watts of AC power due to the 10 amp limit on its 12 volt circuit. Yeti solves this problem by providing AC power when camping. Leaving the Yeti connected through this adapter will charge the Tesla battery or slow the discharge rate while the Yeti provides power. The Tesla consumption is only a few kilometers a day - acceptable for a weekend trip.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some Complications

Only charge Goal Zero from a 12V socket when the car is running

This adapter allows you to charge your Goal Zero Yeti or Sherpa from a 12V socket 5A (approx. 50W) ) depending on how you select the radio button on the device. It is important to note that this only works when the vehicle is running. If you try to charge with only 12V (even if the socket is switched on), the device will not work. It would be great if it worked as I have a large solar panel that can double charge my Tacoma's battery. I was hoping to charge the Goal Zero with a double battery…

  • So far so good

The perfect alternative to solar charging for your car.

Love this for my Yeti 1000. I don't have permanently installed solar panels so I can't always charge them. This allows me to keep my Yeti charged while driving. My charge port is always on, even when the engine is off, so I was worried about the van's battery draining. To my surprise, this device has an intelligence that can detect when the engine is running and I can see that it only charges my Yeti when I'm driving and not when the engine is off. There is a switch to set it to charge either…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No power

Works great with Goal Zero 500x, but only if you have a strong car battery

This product only works when your car battery is charged, whether the car is running or not. I tried it with my Goal Zero 500x to charge it on my old 2010 Subaru Outback. The red LED lights up, but when I insert it into the front or rear port of the 8mm barrel, the blue LED doesn't light up at 500x and it won't charge. However, when I connect it to a newer machine, the LED lights up. This charger is GREEN and I can charge 5 or 10 amps. Currently, 120 W is charged via this charger. I gave a bad…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Not always charged with smart alternators in new cars.

My truck (2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2) is equipped with a smart alternator that changes the output voltage from 11.5 to 14.9 depending on driving conditions. A wide range of. It drops below 12 volts to save fuel. In this case, the device stops charging. So while you were hoping to have a full charge when you headed to camp for the night, your Goal Zero-connected fridge used up most of its energy while it was running. Theoretically, the truck should have been charging all the time and could…
