Looks and works well but the plug doesn't fit.

I have purchased BMW SIDE MARKER CLEAR which looks great when fitted to the car and wired up. This is where the problems arise. The BMW OEM connector does not fit. He is too big. I had to use a precision blade to shave the sides of the connector, round the edges, line up the retaining clasp, and trim the weatherstrip. It's a pain in the ass, but it looks and works well when you're done. Maybe someone at the factory needs to check the specs of the Tyco connector.
