I've been a Braun customer all my life. I used to use the Series 7 and replaced the foil and cutter every 24 months. I bought the Series 9 in early 2017 and have only experienced foiling and cutting issues. So far, in 2017, I have changed cutter/film 5 times. That means on average every 60 days. The middle part of the blade (gold colored) constantly shifts and scratches the face during shaving. This is an absolute nuisance. I thought I might have a defective item but not 5 times a year. I'm seriously considering going back to the 7 series shaver.
