It catches and spins but only if you're not going too fast unlike other similar devices. My device is set to mute but sometimes I'll accidentally press the button and it'll readout my catches/spins. I have an Android and iOS device paired to it but sometimes they'll disconnects before a hour has passed.Unsure if it'll perform better if only 1 device is paired to it.It came with a rubber case but the one I received had a few appearnce defect; which is fine. When putting the batteries it didn't have positive or negative markers but that's alright.Just read the instructions and you'll be good.
