I believe this positive praise for this product is based on a false belief in its accuracy. Yes, more hygienic and faster than traditional oral thermometers, but it lacks accuracy. I know I have a fever with aching limbs, a burning headache and chills. My traditional oral thermometer tells me I have a fever but after reading about 19 this product claims I'm fine at 98.2-98.6FI, feels like shit and shakes all night. The thermometer read behind my ear, not behind my forehead. Even then he only did it once and then went back to that stupid 98.2 F in the last 2 years. Check clock. So you're telling me this product is accurate?!
