Not barb to hold in place

These filters fit my mower perfectly and are easy to replace. However, the factory spring clamps did not hold the line, after a few minutes of mowing the line slipped through. So I installed some screw terminals. It kind of worked, slipped again. I had to rotate them to the bending point of the plastic tube. I ended up buying a notch filter.
