Prior to getting this Everone All Purpose Burn kit my surprisingly extensive first aid kit had only a couple little packets of burn gel in it. Anyone that’s been burnt before, even if it’s just a tiny burn, knows how much it hurts, burns, and throbs, even a day or two after the incident. A burn kit is one of those things you should probably have but hope to never have to use.Let’s start with the good, this kit has a decently extensive sizes and types of basically the same product, which would be burn gel. There quite a variety with a box of little squeeze packets, a couple large sized burn gels, a couple huge one that you can stick your whole hand into or other limb, one that has a pull out fabric material that’s soaked that you can place on areas of the body, even your face, and a roll of that tan colored gauze stuff to hold it in place. So a nice little assortment of items. It all comes in it’s own box so you know exactly where to find everything which is nice. And the ingredients in the burn gel are the same as virtually every other over the counter burn gel so that’s great too. Also with the exception of the couple medium sized burn gel packets that expire in 2023, everything else doesn’t expire until 2025. So you have quite a few years before these would need replaced. So that’s awesome. As for the cons, there are a couple. First, and this is a rather big one, there is not any quick way to figure out what you need in an emergency. There’s no list of what’s inside and what it should be used for. And to top that off it’s really difficult to find directions on all of them l, but the bigger ones especially. You would have to spend a few minutes finding then reading the directions on them which is not a great idea when either you or someone else is injured. There is also the fact that my kit has a super crooked and off center label that just says first aid. It doesn’t say burn kit or anything. Plus the price for this kit is pretty darn expensive if I’m being honest . If you price this stuff out from this brand it’s way below the price of this kit if bought individually.Overall I am very happy to have it. It’s a great thing to have around the house. Hopefully I’ll never need it but if I do I know where to find everything. But I just think it’s lacking for the price point. Plus the lack of instruction or easy use in emergency, or even clear labeling is just not there.
