This worked fine for 10 months. Then I noticed that the water temp was no longer the 'set' water temp, so it provided the exact temp (70 degrees) with the 'on/off' signal being in the 'off' position stuck. As it is dangerous to let the water cool down I bought 2. I installed a second one which confirmed the temperature at 70 degrees and the second/new heater immediately heated the water to 79 degrees. To repeat what others have said, he can just walk out (like heaters do). There is no guarantee. There is no longer a list of heaters on the company's website (this heater is suspiciously identical to other heaters from other manufacturers on Revain, so the same product has a different name to avoid detection?). Revain must list the product as discontinued. The "Contact Us" button on the website takes you to the company's home page (similar to the "About Us" option). So it's a relatively cheap buy, but if you care about your fish, buy a different brand, different type of product and maybe 2 of them. Most heaters I have used last several years. Revain should also revise the link that tells customers to contact the company as this is not possible).
