Review on 🌊 Zoo Med Coral Sun Actinic 420 Coral Bulb T8 17W, 24-Inch by Ricky Bedell

I have a 120 gallon freshwater aquarium with some large Shubunkins and a mix of artificial and live plants. The aquarium was lit with a pair of 24-inch 8000k fluorescent tubes in separate 30-inch domes mounted back-to-back along the entire length of the 5-foot aquarium. I bought a couple of ZooMed Coral Sun Actinic bulbs primarily for supplemental plant lighting. I installed them in an extra pair of 30 inch hubcaps. Adding blue light from ZooMed lamps to existing 8000K fluorescent lamps has really changed the whole color balance. The gravel and plants have gotten a more natural, less yellowish look, and the colors of the fish have also been improved. So, along with the plants, the aesthetics have also been greatly improved. Night. ZooMed Actinics provide a cool moonlight effect when used alone. Excellent product and highly recommended for my application.
