If you want the truly healing properties of the essential oils you use, this is the only way to get them. I used it to spray organic basil oil to help my husband with a cough. It was the only thing that helped him sleep through the night without a cough, and as an added bonus, I didn't catch a cold. I am aware of the healing properties of essential oils and this nebulizer/diffuser is an essential tool for true aromatherapy. I've been using it at altitude for over two weeks and it works so well that we could see basil at the bottom while the device was working at the top.
