Review on Acer Chromebook Convertible Bluetooth CP311 2H C679 by Ryan Nguyen

Much faster and certainly newer than my old Acer 15" Chromebook, which was one of the first 15" models they made and the only 15" Chromebook on the market when I bought it . I bought it because I wanted something good for couch surfing and my old Chromebook didn't support Android apps so it felt very limited to use. I chose this model after reading a lot of positive reviews, which mostly turned out to be the latest model using this eponymous device. First off, this thing appears to be very solid, well built in typical Acer style. But I'm a little surprised at how large frames they could easily fit in this thing given the larger screen. The built-in screen is bright enough for my use and perfectly sharp at a typical viewing distance with good viewing angles. Touch screens just don't like that repo works well with my fingers. Performance under normal use is quite decent, but don't count on it for much gaming as it doesn't have enough power to run more intense Android games smoothly. WiFi is very fast and the signal is excellent. The ports provided are great and I love that it can charge from any USB-C port. The keyboard looks pretty good and the trackpad is what you would expect from a device like this. Now I'm really disappointed that stylus support has been removed from the latest model of this system. I'm a bit of an artist and sometimes I like to draw, even if it's just a draw game to get rid of the itch. I thought drawing with an Android app would be pretty nice compared to my Note phone. And another person has already asked if this system supports an active pen, which Acer said yes. This thing doesn't support an active pen at all. At least not EMR like Samsung devices (S-Pen) or Wacom Stylus. I'm tempted to return this model and order an older one as there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the N3350 and N4020 processors. It's used in tablet mode, but there's no camera. I wasn't sure what this indentation was for until I researched further on the internet and found an overview of a pre-release version of this system. This included a camera and a pen. They seem to have changed their minds about both traits, but haven't bothered to get rid of the indentation. In short, it's a nice little 2-in-1, but some of the design choices are odd for a 2020 device. Also, many of the reviews refer to the latest model (N3350 processor) or test samples with features that this model doesn't actually have (stylus and secondary camera). Also, be sure to check out the real reviews as the thing comes with an Intel (N4020) processor, an AMD processor and a MediaTek processor.
