Review on PORTER-CABLE Hook And Loop Pad for Model 333 Sander, 5-Inch (13904) - Buy 1 Pack (Packaging Varies) by Greg Lockhart

This has been my third PC pad for my PC grinder for many years. There are no problems with the first two, but something is wrong with this one. I made sure the three mounting screws from the pad to the grinder were tightened but within 5 minutes the pad fell to the ground which has never happened in 10 years of use. Yes, I checked if this PC mat is compatible with my PC grinder before purchasing. Upon closer inspection, the 3 holes on the back of the grinder mounting pad were oblong and the 3 screws were so hot I could burn my fingers. In fact, it got so hot it melted the plastic impeller on the mill. I hope that parts for my grinder are still available. Update: Got a replacement (4th now) but the rubber pad didn't come loose from the base until after sanding the drywall. Total time is about an hour on and off and without aggressive use. The original pad that came with the grinder lasted a couple of years, but new pads don't last long. I've stopped switching to Milwaukee or Bosch ROS.
