Perfect replacement

This mat comes in a box as shown in the picture. The old worn seal was removed. Before installing a new gasket, all deposits were removed with a vacuum cleaner. The pad could easily be replaced with the same screws. I haven't had any breakages as others with screws have pointed out. I guarantee that the screws were tightened after assembly. The material of the old and new pads were compared (realizing that the old pad was badly worn) and they were visually identical in material and thickness of

There's no excuse for a brand as big as PC. How many cents did you save?

As other reviewers have noted, this gasket is slightly thinner than the original and cannot be tightened properly to keep it from moving. There's no excuse for that with a big brand like PC. How many cents did they earn? save on it? No consumer should alter the bolts on an original manufacturer's factory replacement part. An aftermarket name maybe, but not a trademark. If the screws become damaged while attempting to cut or grind them, this can strip the threads on the grinder itself. Shame on…

  • Everything is fine!

This pad will ruin my grinder.

This has been my third PC pad for my PC grinder for many years. There are no problems with the first two, but something is wrong with this one. I made sure the three mounting screws from the pad to the grinder were tightened but within 5 minutes the pad fell to the ground which has never happened in 10 years of use. Yes, I checked if this PC mat is compatible with my PC grinder before purchasing. Upon closer inspection, the 3 holes on the back of the grinder mounting pad were oblong and the 3…

Good Price Genuine Porter Cable 13904 for Random Orbit Sander

Gasket for my Porter Kabel Model 333 Type 4 Random Orbit Sander comes in an OEM box as shown. Added cleaned pad backing plate (lots of shredded black foam pieces to show the OE part number. Can't remember the last time I used it but should have been over 10 years ago. I'm worried that I could find a replacement But here it is The original three mounting bolts are tight Had none of the mentioned problems with other more expensive replacement pads The manifold cover showed heavy buildup of dry…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Safety

An ideal replacement part IF the buyer needs to read other customer reviews and heed the caveat that in some cases the original screws may be slightly longer for a new pad. There are several possible solutions, but you must choose one of them. Otherwise, the screw may "go down" before fully tightening the gasket. Pretty hard to spot, but a pad that isn't fully secured can cause serious vibration, and you really don't need significant vibration on something that's idling at 12,000 rpm. I…

  • Slim design
