As other reviewers have noted, this gasket is slightly thinner than the original and cannot be tightened properly to keep it from moving. There's no excuse for that with a big brand like PC. How many cents did they earn? save on it? No consumer should alter the bolts on an original manufacturer's factory replacement part. An aftermarket name maybe, but not a trademark. If the screws become damaged while attempting to cut or grind them, this can strip the threads on the grinder itself. Shame on you! However, once I trimmed the screws and the pad was in place, it was much better to keep the sanding discs securely on the pad thanks to the new Velcro. I never noticed Velcro wear until the grinding wheels fly off. The new Velcro made a big difference.
