Review on PLMR692 Dual Marine Speakers: 6x9 Inch, Waterproof, 260 Watt Power, Outdoor Audio Stereo Sound System - 1 Pair by Ryan Gilliam

Installed on my 1996 Windjet, I've done this for a living and know what a perfectly tuned speaker should sound like. This is NOT a perfectly tuned speaker. High frequencies are tinny, it only effectively reproduces low frequencies up to about 60 Hz. But for my boat they are perfect: I use an iPhone, a JBL MA6004 4 channel amp, slide in 2 of these speakers and 2 stacks of 6.5" PLMR60W marine speakers, they all sound decent. Music is louder than I need, works 60 miles an hour without a windshield and doesn't distort. On the plus side, I flush my boat and don't think twice about flushing the speakers.
