Can't say I've noticed a difference in my fish. I feed them New Life Spectrum so they already have a very good color so if their colors are boosted by water additives I haven't noticed. I don't use RO water, I use regular purified tap water so the need is less than if I were using reverse osmosis water. But it seems like a good product. Can be a good way to ensure the health of your fish. Especially if you are already dispensing fertilizers or other products. Another cap is not difficult. I wouldn't recommend throwing chemicals indiscriminately into your aquarium, but this is a micronutrient mix and not a chemical product like pH Up or pH Down. Most of Seachem's products are top quality and I'm sure this will help improve the overall health of the aquarium. However, I am a little worried about dosing this drug in an inverter aquarium. Many people argue that all copper is bad for inverts, but copper is a necessary element for most living things, including inverts. According to Seachem, the amount in their products (Flourish, Flourish Tabs, and this one) is too small to affect inversion. But when using all three products and when using fish food containing copper (almost all) I am concerned that the sum will reach harmful levels. Perhaps the total amount isn't even remotely harmful. But I wouldn't dose this in an invert tank if you're using the other three products. Amount in one meal can provide the traces needed, but after an additional meal I worry.
