They work great! Hood shake has been completely eliminated. I will make some comments. First, to remove the old rubber, you don't have to remove the slide. I was able to grab both sides of the existing bolt and cut it off very easily. 2. Be sure to heat the new rubber/plastic. I put it in my driveway on a warm day (80's) in bright sunshine. The instructions say to do this project over 70. If you were doing it in the winter I would soak it in hot water, take it outside and install it right away. 3. I was a little surprised that the new screws come with sockets under the ends. I think they should have. I'm looking into finding/buying these. 4. My concern is that the new rubber/plastic is so hard that it may "age" over time or become brittle from exposure to sunlight or cold temperatures. I'm not sure about the properties of the new material. I was able to leave the old rubber intact and buy 4 screws. Instead of buying a new replacement set because I was worried about memory aging, in the event of a failure I could reinstall the old ones and then immediately buy new ones. 5. possible replacement every 2 years. The project took less than 15 minutes to install.
