The ability to customize menus without an in-house designer or developer was very helpful for our needs as we were still getting used with Drupal development at that time, so I can't say there's anything bad about it! It would be great if you could add more options such as adding custom CSS stylesheets etc., but other than this everything works well enough - even though customization took some work (which isn’t really its fault).

We needed something simple yet flexible which gave us complete control over all aspects of menu management from layout through styling right down to item ordering/customizing text content within items themselves; especially since none existed out then nor do they exist now when compared against what competitors offer today like WordPress themes / plugins.
