Be sure to pay attention to the intake filter gasket - this must be installed in the valve body FIRST and then the filter should be installed. If you put it on the filter first, it won't sit in the valve body and you'll suck in some fluid along with LOTS of air, churning up your fluid and wrecking your transmission. The seal will likely need a quick tap - use a seal or bearing punch covering the outside diameter of the seal face. Also note that these pans didn't use a factory seal, they used a silicone seal. However, you can use a gasket (I did) instead of silicone. Save yourself the hassle and use a thin coat of caulk, caulk, or even contact cement to secure the gasket to the pan for easy installation. Remember to clean the mating surfaces and tighten the 15 flat head screws. My manual specs say 140 in/lbs. Personally, I only use Mopar fluid. Mopar always wants you to use their liquid in everything, but Mopar trannys are REALLY picky. A few times I've had shift quality issues due to foaming with name brand gear fluids available at auto parts stores and major department stores.
