I bought these shoes mainly because of their retro style and being vegan is more of a plus for me. They came with two pairs of laces which I thought was a nice touch, especially at this price point. The shoes themselves are incredibly light yet supportive and the level of comfort is very high. I wear them for errands and general casual wear, but I always notice how comfortable they are. I can't comment on some of the durability issues others have mentioned as I haven't owned them for long. However, I would advise wearing them only on dry, sunny days. Here in Minnesota where the snow melts and then it rains I wouldn't recommend wearing them at a time like this. Canvas and hemp will not withstand such conditions. If there are any problems with the seams unraveling/pulling apart, I would suggest it could be a sizing issue. Also, I find these shoes hard to beat for everyday wear and the price.
