Good. So I'll be honest. I was hoping the bottom would be glass. But it's plastic, not glass. I think everything will be fine. To open, press the middle button, to close, put the lid on and press the button. Really easy. The lid can be taken apart for cleaning, which is a bit cumbersome. but not a deal breaker. This one is considered "medium" size - 3 liters. The hole is nice and big (see picture). There is a rubber ring at the bottom to keep it in place, which is nice. I'm not saying if it's dishwasher safe or not. But to be honest, I don't think so. I washed by hand. I think this will work really well for storing cookies for my grandkids (4 and 7 years old) and keeping them fresher for longer. I won't hesitate to update my review if you find the new information useful and I hope you found it useful!
