Looks like a great product but arrived without the lid so it's hard to tell. Revane replaced but I want others to know. I found the other reviews strange about coming without a lid but be warned this could happen to you!

I am 8 years old. I love these jars because when I'm hungry all I have to do is open a jar and have a snack. They are really easy to open with one button and no twisting. They keep everything in them fresh. My mother uses them in the pantry.

Package received from Revain undamaged but there was no lid in the package. I tried to contact OXO to get the cover only but no reply. Sending it back is no longer a problem, so it ends up being just a good scrap keeper in the garage. The cookie jar can later be obtained elsewhere (not from Revain or OXO).

I ordered 20 different sizes to put loose leaf tea in our office. Within 2 days the gray seals stretched out and fell into the can each time it was opened. I have used Oxo products before and have never been so disappointed. Now we have to think about how to return. You cannot buy replacement caps. I also got one without a lid. I really want my money back.

Good. So I'll be honest. I was hoping the bottom would be glass. But it's plastic, not glass. I think everything will be fine. To open, press the middle button, to close, put the lid on and press the button. Really easy. The lid can be taken apart for cleaning, which is a bit cumbersome. but not a deal breaker. Received this from our wedding registry to use to store dog treats on the counter. Overall I'm very happy with it, but it's not as big as I was hoping and you have to leave a decent amount of room in the opening for the "POP" mechanism to work properly, which ultimately makes the inside storage somewhat smaller. I plan to buy a larger one to use for dog treats and use that size for human treats instead. Having not eaten human food from them I can't comment on how fresh the food is kept in there
