Review on BESENERGY 32 Amp EV Charger: Upgraded Portable Charging Station for All J1772 EV Cars by Jaymai Alford

This product worked great for a year but then (a month after our returns window closed) one of the pins broke off and part of the socket melted around due to misalignment it and some sparks flew out. I was able to turn it off before something major happened, like a fire, but simply plugging and unplugging this item a few times a week (at most) shouldn't cause the connector pins to move as much. I had an electrician replace the outlet and check everything. He specifically stated that that fork was to blame because it was loose. I am assuming it is just a defect in this particular product which is why I am contacting the company. We'll probably try their products again in case this turns out to be just a bad apple in a good bunch.
